FSDB Coaches Retire
Coach Mike LaMee announced early this year that this would be his final season coaching the Lady Dragons Basketball team and in the P.E. Department. Later in the School Year, Coach Hugh Lewis announced that he would not be returning to FSDB and was planning to make this summer break an "Endless Summer". When asked "why retire so early?" Coach Lewis replied "I've been here 41 years, I think it's time to take a break." I didn't even think he was a day over 50y.o., but I guess we'll take his word for it!! We wish both Coach LaMee and Coach Lewis a long and happy retirement. You both have earned it and we will miss you on the sidelines. I'm sure though if we look close enough, We will see you in the stands.......
Thanks for your dedication and commitment to our student athletes for these many years. Your students and fellow staff appreciate everything you have done for our school and our sports programs.....
